Cannot access Mozilla Firefox unless I go through the install process.
Shortcuts do not work. I have been using MF for about four months and was very
happy with it (no popups and annoying downloaded search bars). Coincidentally,
my MS Beta version of Antispyware has expired (July 31). IE shortcuts work, MF
shortcuts do not.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Downloaded MF
2. Launch MF from setup.
3. Close MF.
4. Attempt to relaunch MF through shortcuts. Fails.

Expected Results:
Launch browser window.
Are you saying your reinstalling firefox each time you need to open it?
confirmation: reinstalling firefox everytime I want to browse internet.
Shortcuts do not work - no error message.
Does it work if you click on the firefox.exe itself in the program files folder?

Yes, it does. Sorry to have wasted your time.
Frances - to clear up on this issue:

How did you start Fx, when it didn't work? And can you tell more about your observations (error message, shortcut properties)?

If you believe it was just a user error (you said, "sorry to have wasted your time"), please report back anyway for us to be able to close down the bug report. Many thanks, Cigno
Yes, it would be nice to know what happened to shortcuts, as this may help others with the same problem.

The bug is not useful however, so I'll resolve it.
