A <dc:date> can be as little as just the year: we should do better than "Invalid
Dat@NaN:NaN on our own feed. In bug 302121 comment 44 Myk mentioned lifting
Thunderbird's code from

Bugzilla doesn't seem to have indexed this very well, and Myk actually *took*
the one he filed, so I'm duping forward.
