A <dc:date> can be as little as just the year: we should do better than "Invalid Dat@NaN:NaN on our own feed. In bug 302121 comment 44 Myk mentioned lifting Thunderbird's code from http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/mail/extensions/newsblog/content/FeedItem.js#470
Bugzilla doesn't seem to have indexed this very well, and Myk actually *took* the one he filed, so I'm duping forward. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 304362 ***
