When I middle-click on a link to open that link in a new tab, sometimes this
works as expected, other times nothing happens at all. I've not been able to pin
down precisely what causes it to sometimes not work. It has something to do with
the page containing the link, because i.e. on slashdot.org or vg.no it fails to
work (most of the time, *not* always) whereas it works fine (all the time) on
google.

It also works fine when I try with firefox 1.0.2.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit for example slashdot.org, vg.no or dagbladet.no
2. Middle-click on a link.

Actual Results:
Nothing.

Expected Results:
Link should have opened in new tab. This happens on most sites, and even some of
the time on the mentioned pages.
I forgot to mention: On the same pages, and at the same occasions where
middle-clicking fails to load a link in the new tab: If I instead rigth-click
and select "Open Link in new Tab" from the context-menu, then it consistently works.

This confuses me as I was under the impression that middle-clicking should be
equivalent to rigth-clicking and selecting that option from the context-menu.
Does this occur if you start firefox in safe mode:

Do you have the single window mode extension installed?
I *do* have the single-window extension installed and enabled. I have been
unable to reproduce the bug with this extension disabled, so I think you are
correct that the problem lies there.

Feel free to close this as INVALID or whatever if extension-bugs belong
somewhere else.
Marking Invalid based on comment 3 (extension problem), thanks for reporting back.
