If you have more than one address books for example, "collected", "personal" and
"blacklist" it would be useful to have a button in the toolbar that adds one or
more selected messages to the selected (using a dropdown menu that popups
clicking on the toolbar button) address book.

bye,
Giovanni.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
It really wouldn't make sense to have a toolbar button to add a sender to the
addressbook in my opinion. If you want to do this you can just right click on an
e-mail address and chose what addressbook you'd like to put the person in, along
with their personal information, etc.

Well.. let's say you have 5 e-mail form 5 different users and you want to add
them to the address book.. now you have to:

- select the message (1 click)
- right click on the e-mail address (1 click)
- select "add to address book" (1 click)
- select the right address book from the "add to" dropdown (2 click)
- click ok (1 click)

so you have to do 30 clicks.

having a toolbar button will "cost" only 3 click if the messages are one
after the other:

- select first message (1 click)
- select last message holding shift (1 click)
- click the toolbar button and select the address book from the popup (1 click
if you release the mouse button over the selected menu item)

if the messages are not one after the other then it's 6 click..

bye,
Giovanni.
sorry.. was wrong:
"- select the right address book from the "add to" dropdown (2 click)"

here is also true that if you release the mouse over the selected item you just
need 1 click so total is 25 not 30 ;)

bye,
Giovanni.

I wonder what the intention of keeping a "blacklist" is about? Junk settings? Or for filtering people to the trash?

I have wanted to investigate setting up a more formal "Block Sender" system that might be along the lines of what this is getting at. However it's pretty unclear what the goals are here and I'm not sure a toolbar button is the best path forward.
