On the Wikipedia main page the left navigation frame(the one with the wiki Icon
and search box) is gone along with the top frame which has the tabs "article"
"discussion" "view source" "history" and the "create account / log in"

Works for me. Clear your cache and make sure any extensions aren't interfering
by trying this in safe mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
Clearing the cache did the job - boy do I feel silly now.
