Build ID: 2005-08-05-05 Windows XP SeaMonkey trunk.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Enable Quick Launch.
2. Exit SeaMonkey via its File | Exit or by clicking the _X_ button at the
window, top right.
3. Notice that the SeaMonkey icon is still resident in the system tray--no bug yet.
4. Right-click that icon and choose "Exit SeaMonkey".
5. Notice /now/ that the Quick Launch icon is removed from the system tray--I
don't believe this should happen.
6. Launch SeaMonkey again, noticing that the icon still isn't present in the
system tray.
7. Go to Edit | Preferences | Advanced | Quick Launch [X] Keep SeaMonkey in
memory to improve startup performance. Notice that the above pref is checked,
indicating that Quick Launch should be active.
9. Click "OK" in the Preferences window, Quick Launch icon in the system tray
comes back.

Note additionally that we have NO documentation for Quick Launch/turbo; that
deserves a separate bug which I'll file anew.
Split off bug 303188 on the missing Quick Launch / turbo Help entry.
This behaviour is by design. We even have a dialog explaining it.
Reset your browser.turbo.showDialog preference if you want to see it again.

Reproducible with Mozilla 1.8b1 but I started to see this bug only some time
after installing Mozilla 1.8b1 so it's not related to any particular change in
1.8b1.

Setting this pref shows a dialog that looks like
http://www.mozilla.org/xpapps/MachVPlan/QuickLaunch_files/quick%20launch%20active.png
at step 2 of the STR, this bug is only visible after choosing 'Exit Mozilla' in
step 4.

Does SeaMonkey even still have this?
Quicklaunch/Turbo Mode is no longer supported in Seamonkey 2 and Seamonkey1.X is in the maintenance mode (fixing only security bugs)
