I use Firefox to check my comapny email via the web.  It is a Lotus Notes based
system (Inotes).  When in my inbox the main window scroll bar works fine,
however, the scroll bar for the mail window does not show up.  This occurs on
this laptop (XP as shown above), on my 2K professional desk top, and on the
version of Firefox that comes with Xandros 3.0 Linux.  I can go to the bottom of
the page and arrow down and get the email to scroll, but the bar would make life
much better.  Because it is a secure email system, I cannot put the URL in the
line above. If you need further info, please contact me.

1.Log into inotes
2.on the main screen or in the inbox, the scroll bar is not visible

Expected Results:  
I can see the scroll bar in i.e., but to this point I am using Firefox without it.

Works for me with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 ID:2005111116.

Suggest you upgrade to Firefox 1.5
