As there are reports about the cache not beeing clear correctly, I'd like to check for myself and maybe do it manually, but therefore I must know where the cache is. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Menue Tools... 2.Options... 3.Privacy... 4.Cache... 5. And there it is! Or, it isn't, but missing: A possibility to tell Firefox which directory to use for caching. Actual Results: Well, nothing. Expected Results: Give the user a possibility to tell Firefox which directory to use for caching. used default theme, did not crash, also appeared below Win XP.

You can change the cache location using the "browser.cache.disk.parent_directory" pref in about:config. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 251016 ***

Verified. This is one of the things that were removed from the Firefox GUI to make it simpler for common users. Advanced user have the about:config page where they can configure these things.

PS: it does report the location of the cache in about:cache, just like Netscape 1.0 did a few centuries ago.
