Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050803 Firefox/1.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050803 Firefox/1.0+

In the URL specified the bfcache (fastback) setting breaks the javascript that's
used when selecting images from a series of thumbnails. Going Back after
selecting one of the images is somehow disabling the included javascript,
completely breaking the navigation through the images. Disabling bfcache makes
everything work just fine.
I think it's important to note that the included javascript comes from a
different host (a1112.g.akamai.net). This may help narrow down the source of the
problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.wired.com/wired/images.html?issue=13.08&topic=bansky&img=1
with fastback enabled (default).
2. Click on one of the image thumbnails.
3. Click on the Back button.
4. Click on one of the image thumbnails.

Actual Results:
Nothing happens.
The following error appears on the Javascript Console:
Error: popChild is not defined
Source File: http://www.wired.com/wired/images.html?issue=13.08&topic=bansky&img=1#
Line: 1

Expected Results:
Navigate to page that shows the image. No error should appear.

Refreshing the page or turning fastback off enables navigation again.
Please reopen if you disagree
