Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050718 Camino/0.9a2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050718 Camino/0.9a2

Every time I exit Camino, the favicons in the toolbar reset to the default
bookmark icon. It's not until after I click on the bookmark when I reopen
Camino that the favicon refreshes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Camino
2. Click on bookmark in toolbar
3. Favicon loads.
4. Exit Camino
5. Open Camino

Actual Results:
Favicons for toolbar bookmark has reverted to default icon.

Expected Results:
Favicons in toolbar should be set to the webpage's favicon from the previous
load, unless the cache has been cleared.

Sounds like he's crashing on quit every time, or something is preventing the
necko cache from being closed cleanly. Or, perhaps they set the disk cache prefs
to turn off the disk cache?
I only see this with https: sites (bugzilla, gmail), which I believe Simon
mentioned in the bug where he fixed this originally; everything else reappears
after a short delay after opening Camino (loading the icons from cache, no doubt).

If I visit these sites and add them to my BM toolbar, the icons persist across
launches.
Well I don't know what happened but the favicons are now persisting on Safari
for me. I'm not sure what happened, but the problem may have been resolved when
I upgraded to .9a2 but I didn't notice right away. Thanks to all who responded
to this bug report. I hope I didn't waste too much of your time.
