After downloading Firefox version 1.0.6, I lost all internet connectivity
using Firefox. The bookmarks were correctly copied, but neither my homepage
nor any of the bookmarks can be launched. I didn't record the full site
address, but it ended with "...isu.edu.tw"

I have no problem connecting using Explorer, but I like Firefox better. How
can I get a working version of Firefox re-loaded?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch the browser and get the popup message: "(any site address).com could
not be found. Please check the name and try again."
2.
3.

Expected Results:
connected to the internet
Is your firewall correctly configured to allow Firefox 1.0.6? What version of
Firefox were you using previously?
