User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6

According to http://www.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html, there is supposed to
be a UI for browser.link.open_newwindow in the Preferences. There is no such UI
toggle.

According to http://www.mozilla.org/access/type-ahead, there is supposed to be a
"Keyboard Navigation" sub-pane in the Advanced pane of the Preferences. There
is no such sub-pane. Hence, there is no UI toggle for settings such as
accessibility.tabfocus.

So far, these are the only preferences where I have seen explicit mention of UI
toggles that do not exist. If I find more, I will update this bug.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the Preferences
2. Look for the UI toggles mentioned above
3. Don't find them. =)

Expected Results:
According to Mozilla's own webpages, these UI toggles are supposed to be
present. Under MacOS X (10.3.9), for Firefox 1.0.6, these toggles do not exist
and the only way to modify these particular prefs is through about:config.

The page actually says the toggle exists in Firefox 1.0+ which means versions
after 1.0.x so the Deer Park Alpha and later builds have it.

This webpage appears to be referring to the application suite, not Firefox. You
will find the keyboard navigation section in Seamonkey.

Bugs with incorrect information on the website should be filed in the
mozilla.org product.

Ah. I interpreted 1.0+ to mean, "anything above 1.0." If 1.0.x is NOT included,
IMHO the documentation should be changed to read "1.1 and higher" or "1.1+" to
be clearer and specifically exclude the 1.0.x (which is higher than 1.0) builds.
Regarding the typeahead, thanks for clarifying. I would highly recommend
placing a Keyboard Navigation pane in the Firefox preferences as well, since
tabfocus (for example) current has no UI toggle and IMHO it makes sense to
include that (it's "important" enough). Thanks for the clarification.
