when i export events to a new calendarfile, the time in the ics file changes:
DTSTART :20050123T190000Z
becomes
DTSTART :20050123T170000Z

timezone setting: GMT+1 (Europe/Zurich)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. export event

Actual Results:  
begin time and end time change

Expected Results:  
consistent begin and end times

I agree that this is related to bug 222249.  In fact, I fail to see how this is
any different at all and suggest that this bug be marked as a duplicate of bug
222249.  Also, it would be very useful if you could test to see whether or not a
nightly build handles this correctly or not.

Resolving as duplicate.  If I've missed something that distinguishes this from
bug 222249, you may re-open with an explanation.  Confirmation that this is
fixed on trunk would be greatly appreciated as well.
