regressions since 8/1/05

marking regression, nomimating for blocker so someone takes a look at this
sooner rather than later.

Some of this could be due to the split window landing (bug 296639), if so, we'll
just need to live with it until we find ways to optimize more, somewhere...

Removing request to block 1.5 since the 1.5flags are not being used anymore and
since this bug was denied to block 1.8b4 already I'm going to leave that flag alone.

requesting re-triage. going backwards isn't a good thing and trust me, the
*last* thing firefox needs is slower startup (especially on mac).

Josh, can you look into the regressions at

and see if we can nail any of them for 1.5?  If so, please renominate.
