Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pt-BR; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pt-BR; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4

Function: Edit -> Find -> Search Messages.
When using international characters in "Search messages", Thunderbird does not
find any message if word case does not match with terms in the message.
Example: when searching for word "orçamento" in subject does not find messages
with word "ORÇAMENTO". If the word does not have any international characters or
if search for "orçamento", then the search returns ok.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Send a message to you with international characters in subject. For example
"ORÇAMENTO".
2.Receive the message.
3.Go to Edit -> Find -> Search Messages.
4.Fill: Subject, contains, "orçamento".
4.Click Find.

Actual Results:
Message with subject "ORÇAMENTO" is NOT found.

Expected Results:
Message with subject "ORÇAMENTO" is found.
This problem has been fixed, but the fix will not be ported to Mozilla 1.7.x --
you need to run with a Mozilla 1.8 or Seamonkey 1.0 (or Thunderbird 1.1) build.
