Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit a site that uses frames... 2. Navigate through a few pages... 3. Click the dropdown to view page titles for back/forward buttons. Expected Results: Titles of the framed pages (not of the frame page itself) should be displayed since they are the pages being navigated.

This is the correct behaviour. The main page determines the title ->INVA

No this is NOT the correct behavior! What has you thinking it is? You are not browsing different frame pages, you are browsing different FRAMED pages and thus the title should change based on the pages you are browsing.

I can confirm the behaviour, I'm unsure of this is a bug or intended though. ->New/History

The title of framed documents is the title of the framed document itself, not the frames within it. I would agree with Peter that the current behaviour is correct. If the framed document updates its title as you browse through then the history correctly shows the updated titles (see the Java API docs for an example of that). I would say this is invalid too.

The title of framed documents is the title of the framed document itself, not the frames within it. Do you read what you write before you post it? The current behavior is not correct. The title of the pages navigated should appear on the back and forward button drop down menus, not the frame page's title. This is not invalid... Bring your frame bias elsewhere if you will not do your jobs.

Sorry, invalid. Navigating through frames=staying on parent page that holds the frameset. So why should the title be changing? Do not bother re-opening this. If all you want to do is criticize how we handle our volunteer work, then you don't need to be here.

Alright, it's possible this isn't invalid, and I might've missed the point, but it's definitely a dupe, so DO NOT REOPEN *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 264131 ***
