Yes, it's true. Simon reported this bug last night and I thought he was crazy, but it just happened to me. Camino will randomly, even if not the active app, start downloading 09a2 in the latest nightly. This is a *serious* problem as there is no alert. Yes, this is filed in Firefox because there is no component in Core.

what changed that would suddenly enable this? where is it getting the URL to download it? where is that hardcoded?

From what I can tell, it starts downloading from caminobrowser.org/download/releases/09a2 not straight from the FTP server. We don't have that link hardcoded anywhere in Camino. We don't even have cb.o hardcoded in. It opened the download in a new tab as well.

Erm, so I noticed that someone changed the topic on #camino to remove the 09a2 download url. I think that explains this bug. (For non-Colloquy users, the url in the #topic is clickable).
