Dialog box hangs - It happened when I accidentally started Std firefox (1.06) it
hanged, then I started Deer Park alpha 2, which showed a dialog box about
“Incompatible Components”, then I clicked “CHECK NOW”, then dialog: “No Updates
Found”, then the finish button would do nothing, then I clicked the close box X
and it showed the Alpha 2 welcome start page, as though I just had started Alpha
for the first time. Repeats!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Startup Firefox 1.06 - hangs - Close
2.Startup Deer Park Alpha 2 - Click Check NOW
3.Finish button will do nothing, but close X works

Actual Results:  
showed the Alpha 2 welcome start page - everyting works

Expected Results:  
Finish button should close dialog box

Windows 2000 SP3 (5.00.2195) 2.4 GHZ Intel P4 1GB Dell
Theme: Littlefox 1.0.9  (disabled - show no theme selected!)
Note: selected theme Littlefox - same steps gives same dialog hangs.

You're talking about the extension manager compatibility check, -> EM.

Is this still an issue?

Jim, are you still experiencing this. There were a couple of bugs regarding this issue that have since been fixed and this is WFM.
