When reading this site I navigate using the drop down menu.  However if I follow
a link in the forum and then return to this page using the back button the drop
down menu navigation no longer works.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow any link on the page
2. Press the browser back button
3. Try to select a different forum from the drop down menu
4. Nothing happens (normally a new forum is loaded)

Actual Results:  
Nothing

Expected Results:  
A new page should have been loaded

This is probably a problem with bfcache. In about:config set
browser.sessionhistory.max_viewers to 0, restart and see if the problem persists.

Yes that was the problem; setting browser.sessionhistory.max_viewers to 0 did
fix the problem.
