Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.11) Gecko/20050728
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.11) Gecko/20050728

A single message can be moved from IMAP "Sent" to Local Folders "Sent" but
not multiple messages. Staging them via another IMAP folder (e.g., "Staged")
allows them to subsequently be moved to Local Folders "Sent". Thunderbird
1.0.6 does not have this problem, nor does my home copy of Mozilla (1.7.7) but
my office copies of Mozilla (1.7.7, 1.7.8, 1.7.11) all shew the same symptoms.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select two messages from IMAP "SENT"
2. Attempt to move them to Local Folders "SENT" using any method
3.

Actual Results:
Nothing. The messages remained where they were.

(Note : web page grammar is wrong here : previous question was phrased
in present tense, this and the next question are phrased in the past
tense -- they should be consistent).

Expected Results:
Moved the messages.
I doubt this has to do with the version you're running, but more to do with the
profile on the machine. This looks to me very much like a problem that's fixed
in tbird 1.1a and Mozilla 1.8beta.
