- corrected a few errors
- hid one item on Mac as this is not true there this way.
- diff'ed against current branch

checked into branch, leaving bug open until we have hard freeze for further
corrections.

I'm not sure wheter I am to check this in right now or not - if not we don't get
a German beta2, so I guess I leave this minor change 'til Thursday, when beta2
shipped.
