The tinderboxes should be sending mail to tinderbox.mozilla.org. Examining headers on incoming mail to the tinderbox host shows that many of the mails coming in from landfill are addressing the mail to mecha.mozilla.org instead. Sometime in the next few weeks, tinderbox will cease to live on mecha. At that point, the errantly addressed mail may wind up bouncing.
The normal tinderboxen all have their address set to: 'tinderbox-daemon@tinderbox.mozilla.org'; I just checked that with a grep. The checksetup tinderbox is also set to that. Perhaps it's the etlicon tinderboxen that are doing this...? Or perhaps it's because tinderbox.mozilla.org is a CNAME, and so sendmail or somebody like that is getting clever with it. I think that's probably it.

Etlicon tinderbox has that too. All mails are routed to mecha because tinderbox.mozilla.org does not have either MX nor A record defined. Only a CNAME pointing to mecha. So what else sendmail should do than to send to mecha? :)
