if i subscribe on rss channel web-server of which like on
http://server.com:8080/ then i get message '[some channel address] is not valid
RSS Feed'

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. get rss channel on webserver which listen on port 8080
2. add subscription on this channel
3. get error message

Actual Results:  
no subscribing

Expected Results:  
successful subscription and downloading rss items

xref bug 288059, which has a feed URL specifying port 8080.  But that bug claims 
it works fine under Windows.

No response from reporter. This is worksforme over here. 

Do reopen if you can reproduce with the latest version, and provide an URL to the feed.
