Summary: When you enter something such as http://www.p.com, it continually
brings up the alert message that the host cannot be resolved. This is continued
until the address is changed

Expected Results: The alert message should come up once, and then not again

Actual Result: As above in summary
Alert appears exactly once using 2000-03-05-08-M15 on WinNT; this may be a
Mac-only problem. Likely a Networking problem.

schmitty2000@home.com, please say what build of Mozilla were you using when
you saw this problem. Thanks. The build ID appears at the right hand end of the
status bar at the bottom of the browser window.
I was using build number 2000022414

i was able to reproduce this using the 2000-02-26 build of mozilla on MacOS8.6,

but am now unable to reproduce this with a more recent build (2000-03-09).

would you please retry a more recent build, and see if you can reproduce this?

if you can reproduce this, please reopen this bug.
