Both on a new profile, and on my existing one, whenever I type in an entry to
the Find bar and remove it by backspacing, a non-blinking text cursor appears
and gets stuck after where the first character should be. I tried to isolate
this to the entry, or when the red background comes up, but no luck finding any
consistencies.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any webpage with text to search
2. Activate FastFind toolbar (I prefer F3)
3. Type random characters, or words in, and try to backspace it all out.


Actual Results:  
Most of the time, a non-blinking cursor will remain after where the first
character should be. Typing another entry in, will remove that cursor

Expected Results:  
The only cursor shown should be the blinking one, which is now at the beginning
of the box.

I just added this screen shot, it's taken from Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows
NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050812 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005081220, new clean
profile, nothing added.

The site I was on is the default firefox startpage,
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/deerpark/alpha2.html

It shows that regardless of if the selection is right or wrong, the cursor does
get stuck.

I see this as well now on this url. Confirming

Steps to reproduce:
1. go to http://www.mozilla.org/projects/deerpark/alpha2.html
2. press f3 to bring up fast find
3. write whatever "sdfasf"
3. press backspace several times, notice phantom cursor

Changing Summary, this happens in many textboxes on branch builds. It actually
happened right here in "Additional Comments" and also in "Find Cookies".

The FAYT patch for preventing the bar from randomly popping up apparently didn't
fix this either.

Not seeing this on Win, Mac or Linux. Closing as WFM, presuming obsolete. Feel free to revert close, if you can still repro.
