Many sites, including Wired.com and Mail.com are presenting the user with
LiveStrong's shockwave web-ad.
Unfortunately this shockwave process regularly captures all Mouse and Keyboard
events making navigation impossible.
The only way to recover is to Force-Quit FireFox.
I have said reproducibility is always but it's more like 90%

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Move your mouse over the shockwave component
2. Try to select a menu with the mouse. If successful repeat process.
3. If the menu is not shown then no further mouse or keyboard events will be
processed by FireFox.

Actual Results:
Shockwave Ad responds to mousedowns anywhere within the menu or any windows
belonging to FireFox.
Nothing else happens. Windows are not even brought to the front.
Keyboard commands are also ignored, although Command-Tab still works and it is
also possible to select another application from the Dock.
If you return to FireFox no windows come to the front.
It seems as though the ShochWave Ad has taken over complete control.

Expected Results:
Allow window to be closed etc.

I have reported this also to the webmaster shown at LiveStrong.org's site
webmaster@laf.org
and asked that he give some assistance.
After further testing it only seems to be a problem when I have several tabs in
the same window.
This is the normal way I get WiredNews etc. with the RSS feeds (Open in Tabs)
Perhaps it's a problem of this shockwave ad working in a tab that's currently
hidden.
Opening this in the browser has the same effect after playing with it for a
little.
It should save time while testing.
I'd like to hear if people experience this on Linux or Windows.
I think I've seen this in a variety of places in the web, and it may be that
they are pages with Flash movies. I notice it when the normal behavior of the
backspace and spacebar key on a web page stop working. If I move to a different
tab they work as expected.
Cannot reproduce in Firefox 3.0.1
