User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 I use a Logitech 310 MX mouse, there are two special buttons configured as going back and going forward in the site navigation. 1.0.4 was correct, 1.0.6 have changed the functions. Now the back button on the mouse causes a forward and the forward button causes a back. It would be no problem to reconfigure the mouse but unfortunately everything else, other browser, the OS still use back as back and forward as forward. Firefox Build 1.0.6 seemed to changed the handles for the buttons/functions Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Going onto a site than to another 2.Using back mousebutton has no effect, using forward mousebutton causes a back reaction and pressing back mousebutton causes a forward 3.This problem occurs only at 1.0.6 else nowhere Actual Results: Pressing back mousebutton caused a forward reaction Pressing forward mousebutton caused a back reaction Expected Results: Pressing back mousebutton should cause a back reaction Pressing forward mousebutton should cause a forward reaction
Since we're getting close to the 1.5 switch, can you test with a nightly build to confirm that it's happening with all of the new changes that were made to the core?
Im not sure, i use a localized version and i think i remember the fact that i tried mixing two languages caused a problem in both the Fox and the localized versions of th extensions, i report as soon as possible when i try it
So, i tried the nightly build and i can say it is half way solved, the moouse handle works fine but now there is a bug in the history back itself-> I visit google, entered "test", searched for it, then i tried an adress of sth else and pressed back -> the result was a bug, because i get a message that "/search?hl=de&q=test&btnG=Google-Suche&meta=" could not be found, firefox now treid to go back to /search?hl=de&q=test&btnG=Google-Suche&meta= not to http://google.tld/search... This occurs now with the mousebutton and if i click on the back button on the browser
