User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl-NL; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050717 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl-NL; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050717 Firefox/1.0.6 When installing thunderbird and automatically migrating email from existing account of Netscape 7.2 only the mail in the inboxfolder is migrated. All the (personal) subfolders are not migrated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install thunderbird 2. 3. Actual Results: when process of installing is finished and thunderbird is opened then only inbox is migrated. Expected Results: inbox and all subfolders and other folders including subfolders including messages of all accounts should be migrated There is more than 1 account inside of the profile.
in netscape 7.2, windows 2000 pro sp4: i had four mail account folders with subfolders. first, third and fourth subfolders were imported properly, but not the second. i removed thunderbird program, erased "thunderbird" folder in "application data", rebooted, and reinstalled thunderbird: same results. again, i removed "thunderbird, et al, plus, and used sureclean pro to clean temporary windows and internet files: same results. i finally imported netscape mail to eudora 7.0.1.0, deleted all but second mail account, then imported to thunderbird. of course, i had to transfer imported folders to second mail account folder.

It has been a while since i migrated from Netscape 7.2 to Thunderbird. The import-function in Thunderbird never worked for me. I also tried the eudora-route but it was too much work and too much intensive. In the end i succeeded in getting thunderbird to use the netscape-account. I created a default account in thunderbird. I am not completely sure anymore how i proceeded after that: OR: i copied the contents of the netscapefolder to the default-folder in thunderbird OR: i choose the folder when creating an account of (a copy of) the netscapefolder. In any case thunderbird treated it from then on as a thunderbird-account. All folders were accounted for.

Does this problem still appear with TB 2.0.0.* builds or recent trunk builds of TB 3? If no response within 3 weeks, I will close this bug as RESO INCO. Also, does "subfolder" refer to a subfolder of a folder or merely non-INBOX folders?
