Would like calendar/sunbird to count the number of events currently displayed in
the event list.  Helps tell whether a search has returned a different result.
Maybe also the task list.

Number can appear in status line, similar to how it does in Mozilla MailNews and
in Thunderbird.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:  
Count of number of events displayed in event list does not appear anywhere.

Expected Results:  
Count of number of events displayed in event list appears in status line at
bottom of window.

I started writing this patch, but quickly became concerned about the
user-experience.  If we simply place a notice in the status bar saying "17
events", as a user I would be confused about what this is referring to.  The
statusbar is closer to the main view, which makes me believe that it is counting
the events in the current view, not the unifinder.  We either need a clearer
label than I can think of to make this obvious, or else the event count needs to
be placed somewhere other than the bottom statusbar.

My ICS-Inspector extension <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/sunbird/addon/6952> places a label to the right of the unifinder search textbox. This might be viable for core calendar, but I'd like to hear from Bryan on this first.

For parity with Thunderbird I'd like to mark this bug WONTFIX. They don't display message count, neither in the thread pane nor in the gloda search.

If someone objects please comment so we can discuss.
