To attempt to reset a forgotten master password the product was uninstalled.
uppon re-installation the product still requires a master password. As the
master password screen will not let you cancel out from the option screen the
product has to be killed with the task manger.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.set master password from option menu
2.quit program and uninstall product
3.re-install product
4.open option screen and select view passwords
5.dialogue for enter master password appears and requires remembered password.

Actual Results:
unable to reset master password

Expected Results:
after re-installation the software should not remember the master password and
clear out remembered passwords.
The master passwords is persisted across installs because it is stored in your
profile, which is independent of the program installation so that upgrades and
reinstalls don't cause you to lose your data. This bug report is therefore invalid.

Please see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Master_password for information on how to
reset your master password, or use the support options listed at
http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/ .
