When mouse over mail icon, Read mail and news message count is never accurate.
There could be zero new messages, but it will display(13 messages)

Expected Results:  
Once messages are marked read, they should not show up as new messages

Reporter, does the issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies?

(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is 2.0.0.16)
