Talking to dbaron or chase recently before 1.8 branch was cut gave me the
impression that we will get SeaMonkey tinderboxen for the branch as well. I
can't find them at the moment though...

What we'd need are release tinderboxen on Windows, Mac and Linux/gtk2, though
gtk1 would be nice as well. When setting up those new tinderbox builds, it would
be really nice to have them include bug 294182 as well (enabling SVG/canvas to
the same level as Firefox has) so that we ship the same Gecko features as Firefox.

We came up with builds by CTho, ajschult and stefan_h for Alpha, so this is no
real blocker for that release any more, even though tinderbox release builds by
MoFo could include talkback and would ease testing, both of which we really want
to have for Beta, so plussing for that one.

Chase told me branch tinderboxen for us are planned, but as Firefox/Thunderbird
have priority, he didn't have time for setting up those boxen yet.

Today, I discovered 3 boxes on

They're unofficial, they don't upload to stage, and their builds can't do talkback.

Well, trip does upload into nightly/contrib, and the winodws builds getting
uploaded there manually are the builds of the home box, AFAIK.

But Chris is right, those are private tinderboxen of SeaMonkey contributors
which can't include talkback.

If someone (Chase?) at MoFo would find the time to set up boxen far enough that
someone can log in remotely, opi has offered to help them in doing the work for
getting them to work as tinderboxen.

Would be really nice to have, but from what I see this won't happen any time soon, if ever, and we have our private build boxen (which unfortunately can't provide talkback though) to ship from.
So I'm minusing this to get it off the 1.0(b) radar :(

I don't think we'll still see those MoFo boxen any time, and we have my private (talkback-less) tinderboxen running for all tier-1 platforms now, so I consider this bug fixed by having tpol/hoshi/phlox doing our Windows/Linux/Mac builds.
