User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.11) Gecko/20050728
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.11) Gecko/20050728

When I go to open a new tab in the menu (view, show/hide, Tab Bar) I click on it
and nothing happens. I have to use File/New Tab.
It would be nice to have an icon on the browser window to click on to open new tab.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to view
2. go to show/hide
3. go to tab bar and click. nothing, it freezes

Actual Results:
nothing happens, new tab does not open, no check mark by the tab bar in the
menu. I have to go to file/new tab to get new tabs.

Expected Results:
it should have showed icons on browser bar permanently but it doesn't I have to
do this everytime when i use the browser

Summary: Clicking on View, Show/Hide, Tab Bar does not work → Clicking on View, Show/Hide, Tab Bar does not work
Show/Hide Tabbar is not for adding new tabs! This menu entry is only for
toggling the display if you have only one tab/page per window open.

Please set under
Edit -> Preferences -> Navigator -> Tabbed Browsing:
Tab Display: [ ] Hide the tab bar ...

So you have every time the tab bar shown and on the left side of this bar the
icon for "open a new tab".
