If you open http://tubastian.piranho.com/firefox/skalable.html with Linux
firefox, your whole system will hang, it does not react on any input (except of
moving the mouse).

This problem was found on a Debian sarge system (Firefox 1.0.4) and on a Gentoo
system (Firefox 1.0.6), but not on a Windows machine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just open http://tubastian.piranho.com/firefox/skalable.html with your Linux
firefox.
Actual Results:  
Linux crashes, only the mouse can be moved, you cannot get out of the XServer
and stop the firefox, you must do hard reset.

Expected Results:  
Displaying the page, of course.

I can not reproduce this with 2.0.0.6 on Gentoo.  Do you still experience the problem?

Yep, this works fine for me too.  This is a really old report and my guess is that it was fixed quite a long time ago and this bug just never got closed.

Yep, WFM on Ubuntu 7.10 with the build from 4/16/08.
