WFM in Deer Park Alpha 2. Please re-test with a newer version of Mozilla Firefox. Otherwise this should be marked as RESOLVED WORKSFORME.

(In reply to comment #2) > WFM in Deer Park Alpha 2. Please re-test with a newer version of Mozilla > Firefox. Otherwise this should be marked as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. I checked both through tools/options and on the mozilla.org site. I see no newer production version for Firefox than 1.0.6.

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/deerpark/alpha2.html "Note: The Deer Park build you are using is NOT A FINAL OR PRE-RELEASE VERSION of Firefox, it has been made available for testing purposes only, with no end-user support. If that sounds scary, you'd probably be better off with the latest version of Firefox" which is 1.0.6 It would be helpful if you can test with Deer Park. If you don't want to that is ok too.

Why do you say I am using the Deer Park version? I originally installed an older production version of Firefox. The production version notified me and updated itself to 1.0.6. About/Help shows: 1.0.6. At the bottom of About/Help it shows: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Is this Deer Park? If so, there is a very scary bug in the auto-update process that turns production installs into non-production. If not, then perhaps Bugzilla auto-detected my version incorrectly? At this point I am quite confused.

No you are not using deer park. Deer Park is a developer name for what will become Firefox 1.5. Firefox 1.0.6 (which is what you are using) is the most up to date version of Firefox released for general use. The suggestion we were makeing was for you to try Deer Park Alpha 2. It is not required that you try it.

(In reply to comment #7) > Talkback ID please. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback Unable to reproduce any more. Looks like yahoo noticed the problem with Firefox and corrected it on their end. I will write down the Talkback ID if I see the problem again. In the meantime, although it is not fixed, it might be better to close this bug because it can no longer be reproduced.
