304912 - Profile Manager listbox can have "unselectable" entry

If there are two profiles, and the second profile was selected the last time the 
program was run, then on a restart with -profilemanager (or with 'don't ask at 
startup' unchecked in the previous run) it appears that no item in the list has 
been selected.  In fact, the second item is selected, but the selection (and 
"current" indicator) is invisible.  Using the mouse or keyboard, the other 
profile can be visibly selected, but moving the selection back to the second 
item, it continues to appear unselected.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Configure current trunk TB or FF with two profiles
2) Run the program with -profilemanager
3) Select the second profile, Start
4) Close program
5) Re-run program with -profilemanager, observe list

Actual results:
5) No item appears selected in profile list; first item can be selected, but 
clicking on second item or using arrow keys causes visible selection to 
disappear.

Expected results:
5) Exactly one item should appear selected.


This may not be toolkit specific -- perhaps it has to do with the way the list 
selection is coded.  See a similar symptom when creating a custom mailview in TB 
or MailNews: bug 254804 symptom 1 (which was unaffected by the patch at that 
bug).

Looks like a dupe of bug 279497 or at least the same symptoms.
