Most meetings I go to seem to happen at 7pm.  I would like this to be the
default start time for any event I put into the calendar.

This could be done with a template like suggested in bug 361213. The default start time shouldn't be 00:00, the start of the working hours seems to fit better.

The bug from comment #5 requests to make it possible to make "all day" the default.

Philipp, any chance for this? Default start time or all day event for events/tasks would be great.

My usecase it that I use calendar for meetings, but also for TODO list. TODO tasks are always in 7:00 and rest are meetings with actual times.
Tasks need seperate app for my android phone, aren't so visible in my Thunderbird, and final blow to them was from Samsung when they broke task sync on android phones.

Using Business Calendar app on android just because it can set default event time via template. :)

I would love to see this feature, written in a way that it prepares well for bug 312073. Unfortunately I don't think I will have time to write the patches in the near future, although I am happy to mentor someone in fixing it.
