It seems that the images aren't being drawn correctly within some tables. It looks like the ALT descriptions are being displayed instead of the image. I wish I could provide more information, but alas I know no more. I've noticed this with some other sites, but this is tbe best example.
Looks like you don't have the right jpeg library installed, which is likely unless you run RedHat. See http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26315 The page displays fine for me on Linux build 2000.03.06.09 (on RH 6.0).
I updated the libjpeg to 6.0.1-101 and still the same problem. Are there additional libraries that would affect it? I don't know if this helps, but I think it only happens with nested tables.
If you right-click on the image and choose "View Image", does it display them? If you access the page from inside colorado state, using just http://www/, does it work if you use http://www.colostate.edu/? What build are you using? Can you try a newer build to see if the problem goes away? I'll cc: pnunn who can probably tell you what libjpeg you need.
Summary: Images not drawing correctly in table → JPEG Images not drawing correctly in table
You need 6.2. The correct library should be in the tarball but it is not. This is addressed in bug#29765. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 29765 ***
