304950 - Applied Computer Associates fix and bookmarks disappeared

Computer has been crashing but didn't do this before(erase bookmarks). I ran
Zonealarm anti-virus update, rebooted, ran windows update and this fix from
Computer Associates pops up on an alert message, so I clicked to install it, and
rebooted the system.  I even rebooted the system after I found the bookmarks
missing. All bookmarks wiped.
Windows XP all current updates, Zonealarm current updates

Reproducible: Didn't try
