304993 - FAQ: How Do I Delete a Bug?

We need a FAQ entry for bug deletion. The question comes up a lot on the mailing
list.

It should start off with a description of why bug deletion is not a good idea
(history preservation, mostly) and explain that you should use a Graveyard product.

Then it should mention allowbugdeletion, but only for 2.20+ (since if I recall
correctly, that's when our bug-deletion fixes went in).

Yes, bug 86328 and bug 288461.

Why don't you start by posting the explanation here? This bug comes up immediately when you search bugzilla.mozilla.org for "all words" of "delete bug"

For the record, Bugzilla 3.2 no longer has a FAQ section. So this bug only needs to be fixed in 3.0 and older.
