User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Taskbar popup says that updates are available but the update window never gets to 100% complete and so I can not update my extensions. This only affects extensions - when updates are available for Firefox itself, these are fine. I believe that this is due to one or more sites being checked returning either bad data or no data - maybe no network timeout is occurring. Unfortunately, instead of realising that these extensions can't be checked for updates, Firefox just refuses to let me see the ones that do have updates available. There is no way to tell which extensions do have available updates - clearly Firefox does know about these since it's told me that some exist, but I can't get that information out of Firefox. The extensions I have installed are: Advanced Highlighter Button Adblock AniDisable IE View Linkification Nuke Anything SyncMarks Tabbrowser Preferences USer Agent Switcher Minimize To Tray SpoofStick BlankLast SessionSaver 2 del.icio.us Foxylicious LiveLines Bloglines Toolkit Greasemonkey Platypus Google Suggest Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click on the blue "Christmas tree" button. 2.Wait. For hours if you like. Actual Results: The progress bar never reaches 100% and the only available option in the dialog is Cancel. Expected Results: Instant dialog telling me about the extensions that Firefox had already noticed were updated - there was no need to check them all *again*. Alternatively, check everything one more time but to stop this process after a few minutes even if it hasn't reached 100%, presenting me with the results obtained before timeout and a message telling me which extensions did time out.
reporter: are you still experiencing this or is it now working?

I think that it was caused by the Google add-in. I haven't seen the bug since I removed the add-in (and noticed that it went away shortly after removing it in the first place). Not sure if the bug is still there or if it has been fixed by later versions. Sorry for not updating this earlier...
