For kiosk-style applications, it would be useful to prevent users from controlling the browser window using OS-level operations. (For Windows, this means preventing the user from doing the operations normally available via the system menu, for example) Specifically, it would be nice to be able to disable restore move resize minimize maximize close Disabling restore and move, and maximize also makes sense for normal Mozilla apps in full screen browsing mode. Currently, one can full screen then move the full-screened window.

This needs to be a configurable option in the kiosk mode wished for in 3341. There are applications (such as a cybercafe) in which "quasi" kiosk mode is desired. For instance, the ability to resize, close, etc, but not the ability to change options, such as the homepage.

I implemented a custom kiosk browser for my company, and discovered that the user can move the full-screened window offscreen via the alt-space system menu, as stated in comment 0. Although this is only a minor annoyance, it would still be great if Firefox/XULRunner could behave like IE (disabling "move").
