so you moved a message by hand (drag drop?) from that folder to another folder? What group was the moved message in?

(In reply to comment #2) > so you moved a message by hand (drag drop?) from that folder to another folder? > What group was the moved message in? Yes, I moved it by drag&drop. The message was in the group "last week".

now something similar happens if I get a spammail. Thunderbird moves the message to my spamfolder, but it creates an empty message in incoming folder with date "1.1.1970 1:00". This sometimes happens with all thunderbird versions 1.0 1.5, 2.0a1 Now I use: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1a2) Gecko/20060512 Thunderbird/2.0a1 ID:2006051206

This appears to be the same as bug 291343 -- which was recently fixed on the trunk. Andreas Morawietz, please get a trunk nightly and confirm whether the original problem (not that in comment 4) still exists. If so, please mark this bug as a duplicate of that one. Nightlies available at: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-trunk/

Problem seems to be fixed, because I didn't see the bug anymore since some weeks. For this reasion, I mark this bug-report as WORKSFORME.
