User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 I tend to have ten or twelve windows (generally from LiveJournal) open, all but one minimized. When I click on the dock to maximize one, I generally can't use command-R to reload the page. When I look at the Window menu, it doesn't have a checkmark by any of the windows. I can force the focus to the frontmost window by clicking on another app and clicking back, using the View menu, or putting the reload icon back on the toolbar. But I really like command-R and wish it just worked. Note: I generally do have a Gmail window open, either visible or minimized in the dock. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Minimize a window 2. Look at another window 3. Click on the minimized window to view it again. 4. Press command-R Actual Results: nothing Expected Results: Reload the contents of the window.

I've noticed this problem too, but it isn't just Cmd-R, it's any keyboard commands applying to the window that was just restored from the dock. That included Cmd-L, Cmd-K, page up and page down, tab, etc. Repro steps should include minimizing two windows and then restoring them both, since the problem seems to affect all windows except the most recently minimized one. I think this is because the keyboard focus stays with the most recently minimized window. A workaround is to click another (non-Firefox) window and then click anywhere on the "dead" window you just restored, and KB focus is back on that window as it should be. And wonder of wonders, with the latest nightly build I can't reproduce this anymore, so I think this is fixed.
