PLEASE fix this major flaw which has been bugging your browser from the
beginning. Pages are NOT printing properly from many sites even though
everything looks great on the browser view. I checked your bug base and this
problem is no where near being fixed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to http://news.softpedia.com/sci-tech/index.en.shtml (not the only
problematic site)
2. Print.
3.

Actual Results:
Printed pages turn out all wrong, in every way.

Expected Results:
Printed the pages exactly like it looks on the browser view
Does the problem occur in the latest trunk version of Firefox?

I can confirm the bug, but i think it has to be carified: if you go to a multi-frame website (have no actual test site available, but there are in fact many), you get a fine preview, but mozilla printts a page for every frame and item in the page (i.e. botton bars, user input fields etc), and i may happen that the page you are waiting for is acutlayy the last (murphy?).
and it is still out there: i had it recently with 1.0.7, which is fairly new... ;-)

About "firefox STILL printing improperly" I would like to call your attention to the bug report i filed in bug N.314839.

In that comment I attached an example html page and a number of outputs in PDF format. There is also a screenshot of the on screen rendering as a jpeg file.
I probably should have added my comments to this bug, instead. I tested the page in Firefox 1.6a1 downloaded from Deer Park

I printed this simple HTML document to produce the other attachment, test.pdf
Produced on firefox 1.5.0.8 though the results are the same on all versions I have tested.
I can confirm this bug has been around for a while. I have attached an small HTML file that reproduces the bug. Note the spaces that appear between the red boxes when printed which are not there on the screen. They are narrow so are not always visible at 100% view on screen but *always* appear when printed to paper. Hpefully this example is simple enough that the bug can be tracked down fairly easily.
I confirm the bug exists in both the 1.5 and 2.0 branches
