305332 - Since installing Google Desktop Search - Netscape 7.2 crashes 3 to 4 times an hour

Not sure if NSPR is thge right place but nothing else seemed relevant.
Cant find the bug anywhere on internet nor in your system and not in Google and
not in Netscape.

Netscape Communicator 7.2 hangs and then crashes (when the mouse is moved
anywhere over th eNetscape screen/box) with Mozilla error in JS3250.dll
Seems to be when an email is received (only when a request for emails from pop
server is made based on timer - not when requesting email manually). Note I am
also running AVG antivirus which scans the email.
No problems at all for months. Problems started 30 mins after installing and
completing indexing using the newest Google Desktop. Netscape (local email) was
active whilst the indexing was running.
All software is latest versions (XP/AVG/

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run all software and wait for an email to arrive whilst Netscape is not the
main foreground task in use.... then the hang occurs
2. CLick on the Netscape program to bring it to the foreground and as it starts
moving to the foreground it crashes.

aww, it's a gecko bug, as you can see from the fact that it crashed in js3250.dll

reporter: take note, nspr is nspr4.dll

reporter: could you please run the n7.2 installer and select talkback? then
crash again, if so, run talkback and find an incident id.

i'm tentatively dumping this bug randomly (intentionally not dumping it in
JavaScript Engine because i don't feel like being yelled at).

Too many problems. Uninstalled Google Desktop Search and now Netscape and
Firefox are 100% ok problems stopped immediately.

Was there ever a problem with a Mozilla.org product?  Or just with Netscape?

bz: gds had issues w/ certain 'newer' versions of gecko (iirc the fix was that gds was disabled), but i'm not sure if 7.x (which was not Communicator, that was a 4 branding) fell into that bucket.

Netscape 7.2 is not a Mozilla.org product as far as I'm concerned.  If that's the only thing that shows the bug, please file this on Netscape.

As far as I can tell, this product is not supported by Mozilla.org.  Following directions from Timeless, I have resolved this bug as incomplete.
