When requesting Virus update information from my McAfee Security Suite
6.o,Firefox will take me to the website, but won't allow anything to load other
than the logo.  I've tried turning off the pop-up blocker.  But still can't get
anything.  If I close Firefox and open Internet Explorer, and try again to reach
the update site for Mcafee, Firefox will again open and give me the blank McAfee
page.  Please hlep.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Firefox

2.Go to Mcafee Security center
3.Select "check for updates
4.  Mcafee box says that updates are available, I click "update now"
5.  Firefox goes to Mcafee page, "M" loads, bottom text bar says "done", but
nothing else is there and the update can't be downloaded



Expected Results:  
McAfee page should display the update it plans to perform.
I should click on it and the update should download.

http://www.mcafee.com/ works for me.  I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC
Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050819 Firefox/1.0+

Much of McAfee is MSIE specific. When we try to download to reinstall, or download updates, it often comes up with a page that says you must be in MSIE to do this function. I suggest you complain to McAfee about their lack of cross-browser compatibility.
