Only the standard themes Classic and Modern show scrollbars. I saw this in the Seamonkey 2005082006 release, it works in the 20050730 release. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Seamonkey and a theme (for instance little beast, little mozilla, pinball etc. 2. Switch to the theme 3. No scrollbars Actual Results: Any scrollbars in any window (browser, preferences etc. disappeared. Expected Results: The scrollbars should be shown, changed by the theme.

The same happens under Linux Build ID: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050820 SeaMonkey/1.0a
Neil told me that it's now the responsibility of theme authors to update their themes, as we've split scrollbars into native and xul. That really means that this is likely not our bug, but theirs.
Confirming with Seamonkey trunk build 2005082105 on WinXP with Orbit Retro theme. Seamonkey theme support is already bad, now we make it even harder. :-/ (In reply to comment #2) > Neil told me that it's now the responsibility of theme authors to update their > themes, as we've split scrollbars into native and xul. Bug 222654 indeed, which was an effort to allow themes to be cross-platform. Theme authors need to fix their themes. -->INVALID. See http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=1673894#1673894 and http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=305665
