Details

(Whiteboard: [add-on idea])

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.11) Gecko/20050728
Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 1.0.6 (20050716)

Mozilla Suite's mail had a clickable area on the resize bars that let you pop
the panes open and closed to your preset sizes with one mouse click. I would
like to have this feature put into Thunderbird. (I tried going back to Mozilla
mail but there's no way to migrate my mail messages backward into Mozilla from
Thunderbird! So I'm stuck.)

Reproducible: Always

See Suite bug 280787/Core bug 256358 -> Core bug 63389.

That's the "grippy."
OS: Windows 98 → All
Hardware: PC → All
Summary: I want the auto resize buttons back in Thunderbird like in Mozilla mail for the window panes → want the grippy (auto resize "button") back on the pane splitters in Thunderbird, like in Mozilla mail
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I think, by the way, that this bug is unlikely to be implemented in the basic TB
installation, but it would be a relatively simple extension.
