Still problems with the "Show only display name" setting:

1) Address books
"Show only Display name for people in my address book" setting fails to ready
any but the Personal Address Book in my case. I split up one huge address book
over multiple address books (Family, Friends, Work, etc.) and now it will only
try to match names from the Personal Address Book.

2) Uppercase/lowercase
The address matching is done case sensitive, so if i receive an email with
Some.Name@domain.com CC'd, and I have an entry for some.name@domain.com in my
address book, it will *not* match! Very annoying. The closest related bug I
could find is maybe #129393.

3) Address book name/Sender name
Whenever there is a match, it will display the name *used by the sender of the
email* instead of the "Display name" used in my address book entry! To
clearify: I have a display name of "Some Name" for the earlier email in my
address book. I receive an email where that person is CC'd but with in the
raw email body:
Cc: "Some 1337 h4x0r Name" <some.name@domain.com>
And then the name used is "Some 1337 h4x0r Name" instead of the one from the
address book.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
nothing special:
1. have multiple address books
2. have entries with a different To/Cc email address case as used in emails received
3. Have an entry with a different Display name as explicitly mentioned in
received email.

Hmm. I kept searching and found the following comment on the case sensitivity
of email email addresses:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=256526#c1

Standards-wise it is allowed apparently. In practise it is not used and is a
major annoyance. Eg. in the situation where the original sender uses address1
and some of his contacts have put that in their private address book and the other
half of his contacts use a directory server which uses address2. yuk.

I wonder if it can be solved by putting in address2 as "additiona email"...
FWIW, I'm not seeing issue #1 in the latest builds. Also, please keep it to one
issue per bug report.

I'm using Version 1.5.0.2, build 20060308. The problem described under 1) certainly is an issue. Also for me, only for addresses in the Personal Address Book the Display name is showed in the mail messages.
